5.2.2 Individual Project
CREATING YOUR PROJECT
You may also submit a final course project as an individual rather than as  part of a team. In this case you will earn up to $35.00 depending on the  facilitator's evaluation of the quality of your work.
SUGGESTIONS FOR DECIDING ON & CREATING AN INDIVIDUAL PROJECT

1. Self Assessment. Given your understanding of US values as well as your  experience with the pace and style of this course, what do you feel will be  your strongest points and biggest challenges in working in the USA or in a  US organization? What would you need to do to meet these challenges?  Submit your self-evaluation to a facilitator  on or before Day 3. Include  documented feedback from at least two other course participants who  know you well. Classmates who give you an evaluation will receive $10.00  each.
2.  Adapt a European product or create an imaginary product for the  US market, paying attention to US key values and behaviors. Document  why you made the choices you did. Submit an electronic or paper report to  a  facilitator on or before Day 3.
3. Create an advertisement for a product that appeals to US key values. You may provide a script, role play it or put it online. Describe how the  values determined what you did in the ad. Submit an electronic or paper  report to a facilitator   on or before Day 3.
4. Design your own individual activity. Think out a project that would  best deepen and express your understanding of US values. Review your  project with a facilitator for approval, advice and assistance. Submit an  electronic or paper report to a facilitator   on or before Day 3.
