Laurence Sicot, a native of France, has 25 years of experience in international  communication and market research. This includes 20 years experience both as a  Communication, Management and Intercultural Relationships Trainer and  Consultant,  and as a Project Manager.
Brought up in a Franco-American environment and having relocated multiple  times  internationally, she has practical experience moving across borders and  understands  first hand  the complexities that arise in multi-cultural  environments.
Since 1995 she has been carrying out communication and management  intercultural  projects, conceiving, designing, and conducting group and  individual training with  corporations. Projects deal with international mobility - expatriation & repatriation of  executives and family - personal leadership  development and cultural adaptation for  foreign executives and their families, change and transition, multicultural team  building,  diversity & conflict  resolution in the  workplace.
She has led numerous projects in France, Brazil, USA, Western Africa (Ivory  Coast,  Senegal,  Cameroun, Burkina Faso, and Angola), South Africa, Europe  (Belgium,  England, Germany,  Luxembourg, Portugal, Romania Spain, and  Switzerland), Mexico,  Thailand, China, India and  others.
Ms. Sicot holds a Diploma in International Commercial Studies by Negocia from  the  Chamber of  Commerce & Industry in Paris), a DEA in Social Anthropology and  Compared  Sociology from the  University Sorbonne-René Descartes (with  High Honors) and Certification from the Intercultural Communication Institute - Pacific University  (Portland, Oregon). She also studied at the  University of  Cambridge, in the UK and at  the University Estácio de Sá (NLP and Human Resources) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She  also attended an advanced Active Listening training  course at the Psychosynthesis  School in Paris. She qualified for “Administration and  Interpretation of Intercultural  Development Inventory”, an assessment tool for transition issues (IDI), for the “Cultural Detective”, a training tool that develops global business competence in individuals and organizations and for The International Profiler tool by Worldworks.
She is, presently, the President of SIETAR-France (SIETAR is a worldwide Society for  Intercultural Education, Training and Research), the associate manager and owner of  Find The Link, co-founder of Ithaka Connexions Interculturelles (Paris,  France), a  partner with Novas Tendências Assessoria (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), Santa Vitoria (Milan,  Italy), a  member of the International Academy of Management and of Open Source  Intercultural (peer based professional training  group).
