V1. Do one or more Core Values cases from the
appendix of Cultural
Detective USA, identifying the values of
both sides and suggesting bridges. Bring results on paper, or
e-mail them to a facilitator
for evaluation. There is a
large collection of
additional USA
Cultural Detective cases that you can use to
practice your values analysis skills and find new bridges for
difficult situations. Do as many or as few as you like.

V11. Paris vs. New York is a blog that
juxtaposes images of the two cities in contrast to each
other. Either from searching the net and/or from your own photos,
compare your home country or city with a US one and note how the
differences in values systems in the two places might explain or
illustrate the differences in the pictures you
compare.
