Katrin Volt holds an MA in Intercultural Communication, University of Bedfordshire, UK, as well as teaching qualifications, e.g. the Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA). She has taught English as a foreign language in the UK, Spain, and in her native Estonia. She has also worked as a civil servant in Estonia and managed translation and educational projects. She is currently an Associate Consultant at George Simons International where she serves as an editor of the diversophy series of games.
