Maria Mavrommati is a PhD candidate at the University of Macedonia, Greece, studying the effects of computer games in education and the use of history for intercultural education. She has studied history and pedagogics in Greece and Scotland. She works as a pedagogics and didactics instructor in private higher education institutions and as a teaching assistant at the University of Macedonia, Greece. Her publications are in the area of computer games and virtual worlds in education and history teaching.
