Alex is an executive coach and organizational effectiveness consultant. She loves to facilitate individual and group processes to be mindful and creative when confronted with differences. Alex has been working with many global clients, and her areas of focus include global leadership development, culture change and transition, multicultural teambuilding, and intercultural management. She is the lead author of Cultural Detective: East Asia, defining the similarities and differences of the Chinese, Japanese, and Korean cultures. 

Dr. Nam holds a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in the field of Intercultural Training, Organizational Leadership, and Global Human Resource Development. As a certified Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) administrator, her areas of focus include intercultural training, expatriate pre-departure training, global leadership development, multicultural team building, cultural intelligence, and study/work abroad. Dr. Nam has extensive experience in training, consulting, and public relations in North America and in Asia working with key transnational companies and international organizations, including the United Nations (New York) and UNESCO (Bangkok).
