Meet the Creator of )diversophy®

 

Dr. George Simons is founder and sole proprietor of George Simons International, a virtual consulting network specializing in intercultural communication and global management.

He has recently been serving such clients as Astrium, BNP Paribas, Capgemini, CocaCola, Cruz Roja de Barcelona, Ford, Michelin, Shell, Siemens, and Unilever.

 

He is a member of the advisory board of the European Business Review. He has served on the board of directors and coordinates the communications committee of SIETAR Europa.

 

Dr. Simons is the creator of the award-winning )diversophy® games for developing diversity and intercultural competence in the training room and for online learning. Building the game data base, both through independent research and collaboration with colleagues, comes from a long standing passion to understand cultures and a commitment to use cultural competence to build a peaceful as well as economically and socially sound world order.

 

George was born in the USA and has lived in Germany, The Netherlands and France. He has worked in over 35 countries. When not traveling to client locations, he spends part of the year in in Mandelieu-la Napoule, France and part in Santa Cruz, CA, USA.

 

He speaks fluent English, German, French, Spanish, some Dutch, and has a basic knowlege of Russian, Indonesian and Italian.
