DEVELOPERS

 

Developed by Intercultural Management Masters students from the University of Burgundy: Francesca Bozzao, Aletta Bredewold, Sitong Li and Mary Emmanuelle Ponce. We come from a diverse set of cultural backgrounds, from four different countries: the Netherlands, Italy, China, and the Philippines with various experiences living, working, and studying abroad. We began our journey with diversophy® in 2017 and have enjoyed the conversations, growth and fun that the development of the game has given us. diversophy® invited us a chance to explore different approaches to the topic of food diversity, from recipes and table manners to eating and drinking habits around the world, as well as a chance to reflect on the role and importance of food in our society. In the future, we will go further with our studies in the field of intercultural communication and management, each spending an exchange semester abroad, carrying an internship and completing our master’s thesis. It has been our great honor to contribute to diversophy® and we would also like to thank our professor Alex Frame, researcher and head of the Intercultural Management Master's program at the University of Burgundy, for facilitating this project.

Siamo un team internazionale di studentesse con numerose esperienze di studio, lavoro e vita all’estero, provenienti da quattro diversi paesi: Paesi Bassi, Italia, Cina, Filippine. La nostra esperienza con diversophy® è iniziata nel 2017. La creazione del gioco ci ha permesso di intavolare discussioni costruttive e divertenti. diversophy® ci ha dato l’opportunità non solo di esplorare la diversità culturale sotto varie prospettive, dalle ricette alle buone maniere alle abitudini alimentari in giro per il mondo, ma è stata anche un’occasione per riflettere sul ruolo e l’importanza del cibo all’interno della nostra società. In futuro, porteremo a termine i nostri studi nell’ambito della comunicazione e gestione interculturale con un semestre di scambio all’estero, un tirocinio e la tesi magistrale. È stato per noi un grande onore poter contribuire a diversophy®. Desideriamo inoltre ringraziare il nostro professore Alex Frame, ricercatore e responsabile del master in Intercultural Management all’Université de Bourgogne, per averci sostenuto in questo progetto.
