The Next Theme
"Conflict Management Across Cultures" is an interactive and educational game designed to build intercultural awareness and improve conflict resolution skills in diverse settings. This game engages participants in real-life scenarios, questions, and discussions that reveal how different cultures approach conflict—whether through direct confrontation, indirect communication, avoidance, mediation, or consensus.
Players explore cultural values such as face-saving, power distance, individualism vs. collectivism, and emotional expressiveness, and how these influence conflict dynamics. The game creates a safe space for participants to share personal experiences, reflect on cultural assumptions, and develop practical strategies for navigating disagreements across cultural lines.
By the end of the game, players gain not only a deeper understanding of their own conflict styles but also the tools to communicate more effectively, resolve misunderstandings, and foster respectful dialogue in multicultural environments.
About Our Workshop Series
diversophy® workshop series/game sessions are attended by participants from around the world and explores the benefit of intercultural training tools in the form of games. We focus on gamification as a dynamic process of building successful relationships in organizations and communities.
diversophy® technology has successfully enabled acculturation in numerous countries around the world, thanks to its capability of creating a safe atmosphere for contact, communication, mutual acceptance, respect, and trust.
Participants will have the opportunity to play each week a different game chosen out of 70 diversophy® topics currently available. Each player will explore effective gaming strategy while enjoying a safe and fun atmosphere for learning and interaction. As a result, participants are encouraged to organize and use valuable elements of their knowledge and experience as they acquire new skills needed in diverse interpersonal relationships.
