Le jeu diversophy® Nouveaux Repères est un jeu de cartes à discuter, qui a pour vocation de mieux se connaître et se comprendre entre Français et personnes arrivées de Syrie, d'Irak, d'Afghanistan, de République Centrafricaine, de l'Erythrée, du Soudan...
Les questions du jeu portent à la fois sur les réalités, les habitudes et les comportements en France, ainsi que sur celles des pays d'origine, permettant une découverte mutuelle et la prise de conscience de certaines différences. L'objectif du jeu est de dialoguer sur ces différences mutuellement enrichissantes et de favoriser une insertion positive dans la société française.
Les questions de ce jeu de cartes sont posées en trois langues : français, anglais et arabe, pour permettre aux joueurs de discuter même s'ils ne partagent pas la même langue et s'ils sont en cours d'apprentissage du français. Les questions sont discutées en petits groupes, de façon à permettre l'entraide linguistique entre joueurs. Nouveaux Repères est une adaptation française du jeu New Horizons développé par l'Université de Sciences Appliquées JAMK en Finlande.

Nouveaux Repères (New Anchors) is a social game in which French people and newcomers from Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Central African Republic, Eritrea, Sudan, etc. make contact, learn to know each other, and resolve potential cultural misunderstandings.
The game's discussion topics present everyday French life, habits and behaviors, as well as those of the players with different countries of origin. It promotes mutual discovery and the awareness of differences and connecting points. The objective of the game is to discuss these mutually enriching differences and to promote a successful inclusion into French society.
The topics to be explored are presented on the game cards in three languages, French, English and Arabic, allowing players to participate and share even if they do not fully speak the same languages or if they are currently learning French. Playing the game in small groups, safely encourages players to help each other understand and learn. Nouveaux Repères is modeled on the New Horizons diversophy® game successfully developed by JAMK University of Applied Sciences in Finland.

Dr. Grazia Ghellini, co-auteure et traductrice du jeu. Actuellement chargée de cours d'éthique dans le commerce international, management interculturel et communication internationale en anglais à la Montpellier Business School. Elle enseigne aussi l’anglais dans des instituts d’enseignement supérieur. Formatrice en communication interculturelle, elle aide les professionnels, les étudiants internationaux, les expatriés et les nouveaux arrivants à s'adapter à une nouvelle culture tout en restant proches de leurs racines. Facilitatrice Cultural Detective® certifiée, elle privilégie l'utilisation de méthodes d'enseignement participatives et basées sur l'utilisation d'outils pédagogiques ludiques tels que les jeux diversophy®.
Dr. Grazia Ghellini, co-author and translator of diversophy® Nouveaux Repères is a part-time lecturer in business ethics, cross-cultural business and international communication in English at Montpellier Business School. She also teaches English at various institutions of higher education. An intercultural trainer, she helps professionals, international students, expatriates and newcomers to acculturate and work effectively across cultures while staying close to their roots. A certified Cultural Detective® facilitator, she favours the use of participative teaching methods and entertaining teaching tools like diversophy®.
Catherine Roignan, co-auteure et traductrice du jeu diversophy® Nouveaux Repères, co-auteure de diversophy® Maroc et de la méthode Cultural Detective® Morocco. Consultante et formatrice interculturelle (en présentiel et e-learning), elle intervient en entreprise, dans le secteur public et auprès d’ONG pour renforcer les compétences interculturelles des professionnels et les capacités d'adaptation des organisations. Elle a récemment déployé des programmes de formation auprès d'équipes de travailleurs sociaux pour les former à l’accueil de personnes migrantes et auprès de personnes migrantes pour les familiariser avec la culture française.
Catherine Roignan, co-author and translator of Nouveaux Repères, co-author of diversophy® Morocco and of Cultural Detective® Morocco, is an intercultural trainer, consultant, and lecturer at the University Paris 3 Sorbonne Nouvelle. She accompanies governmental organizations, companies, and NGOs in meeting their diversity issues. Her goal is to strengthen the intercultural skills of professionals, as well as to foster the adaptive capacities of organizations. Most recently she has created programs to develop bridging capabilities between social workers and refugees, and currently promotes joint projects with multicultural newcomers.
Mohammad Antar, co-auteur et traducteur. Syrien, Mohammad a vécu en Egypte, puis en Turquie et a travaillé dans plusieurs ONG humanitaires. Arrivé en France en 2016, Mohammad a été chef d’équipe et coordinateur bénévole dans l’association Sciences Po Refugee Help à Paris. Il a mené une recherche auprès de réfugiés de nationalités diverses pour recueillir leurs témoignages et comprendre leurs différents besoins. Avec Grazia Ghellini, il co-anime des stages interculturels pour les demandeurs d’asile et les réfugiés afin de favoriser l'intégration des réfugiés dans la société française.
Mohammad Antar, co-author and Arabic translator of this game, is a Syrian refugee, He has lived in Egypt and Turkey and worked with various humanitarian NGOs. Having moved to France in 2016, Mohammad served as a volunteer team leader at Sciences Po Refugee Help in Paris. He conducted interviews with refugees of various nationalities to understand their diverse needs. Currently, with Grazia Ghellini, he is engaged in organizing intercultural training for asylum seekers and refugees aimed at fostering their integration into French society.
Mohamad Al Hacene, traducteur. De nationalité syrienne, détenteur d’un Master en littérature française comparée, Mohamad a été assistant délégué à la Faculté des lettres de l’Université de Damas jusqu’en 2017. Arrivé en France en 2017, il suit un Master 2 en Etudes culturelles, parcours francophonie et interculturalité à l’Université de Montpellier. Il est engagé auprès de l’entreprise sociale WAYA qui s’occupe d’aider des nouveaux arrivants comme les réfugiés, les étudiants ou les familles immigrées à s’intégrer le plus rapidement possible à la société d’accueil. Il a effectué un stage chez George Simons International où il a pu exercer ses compétences de traducteur arabophone.
Mohamad Al Hacene is a Arabic language translator. Of Syrian nationality, he holds a master’s degree in French Comparative Literature, and has worked as a teaching assistant at the University of Damascus until 2017, when he moved to France. He is currently pursuing another master’s degree in Francophone Intercultural studies at the University of Montpellier. Mohamad also works at WAYA, a social organization, which helps newcomers like refugees, students or immigrant families integrating as quickly and smoothly as possible into their host country. He completed an internship at George Simons International, where he worked as a translator of Arabic.
Hala Alzaeem, traductrice de la version arabe du jeu Nouveaux Repères. Médecin en Syrie, elle est arrivée en France en 2018. Hala a effectué plusieurs stages au Centre Hospitalier Universitaire (CHU) de Montpellier. Elle est titulaire d'une maîtrise en sciences humaines et sociales de l'Université de Médecine de Montpellier et parle 3 langues : l'arabe, le français et l'anglais.
Hala Alzaeem, translator of the Arabic version of the Nouveaux Repères game. A physician in Syria, she arrived in France in 2018. Hala did several internships at the University Hospital Center (CHU) in Montpellier.
