In this game, you will explore the cultural dynamics of major political and social tendencies toward autocracy in contemporary societies. You will see the steps in their conception, development, and execution, gaining insight into how such systems take shape and impact people’s lives. Using the gamified diversophy® methodology, the game provides a facilitated safe space where participants can share and connect with one another around delicate contemporary issues. These topics are often left unexplored in professional intercultural discourse due to conflict-avoidance tendencies, despite their increasingly dominant role in shaping the metanarratives of societies worldwide. The game emphasizes that conflict avoidance must be replaced by effective conflict management if we are to maintain peace and defend democracy. By engaging with others in this structured format, players can openly discuss diverse perspectives on public political discourse and behavior, and critically examine their effects on the creation and implementation of destructive forms of governance.
